Waiting list

The centre does have a waiting list but usually places can be offered throughout the year. Some nurseries have higher demands than others so it is essential to phone about vacancies as soon as you are aware you may require child care.

Once you have contacted the centre, we will request you and your child's details and possible start dates.

You will be invited to come to the centre and meet the co-ordinator and child care staff. It is not essential that your child attends this initial meeting, but if possible, it is nice for them to look around.

Either Nicole or Gill will meet with you and give you an information package including a parent handbook and enrolment forms. These forms must be filled out and returned to the centre as advised by the co-ordinator.

You will also be asked to contact the Family Assistance Office to work out your Child Care Benefit entitlement.

Orientation

To ensure children and their families have the best opportunities to feel accepted, safe and secure in our centre, we ask all children and families to take part in our orientation program.

During Orientation

We recommend at least two visits, but recognise that each child has different emotional needs. Some children will require a longer orientation program and this can be planned in consultation with the parent or guardian to ensure the child's emotional well-being and security is of the highest consideration.

Fees

Fees are reviewed annually and are to be paid two weeks in advance. Click here for a list of our fees.
