Leafy play areas

Each nursery has a separate outdoor garden. Treasure Island Child Care Centre prides itself on being environmentally friendly with its natural open spaces for children to run, play and create their own lives. Each area has trees, plants, sand, equipment and access to water.

Imaginations can run wild

Musical gardens, cubby areas, boats, tyres, swings, bikes, cars and other equipment encourage curiosity and provide opportunities for children's play to develop.

Individual attention

Staff encourage children to feel secure and confident in their environment.

They promote children's physical and creative development and provide opportunities for problem solving, mathematical and logical thinking. Staff develop their curriculum according to their observations of the children.

Children do a range of indoor and outdoor activities that have been planned to meet their developmental needs and to reflect the individual children's lives. They are encouraged in a positive and supportive manner to explore their environment and try new things.

Curriculum is displayed in the nurseries. Parents are invited to discuss multicultural issues, music and storytelling. Ideas can be put in the suggestions box in the foyer or discussed with the educator.
